Area Maintenance Operative - (Wales/Midlands)
37 hours per week
£33,655 per annum plus £7,000 car allowance.
We are looking to fill 2 positions within below areas with flexibility to cover other areas when required. The areas currently identified are:
- Wales, Oxfordshire and Cheshire
- Midlands and Staffordshire

We are seeking a dedicated Area Maintenance Officer (AMO) to ensure our homes remain safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents, colleagues, visitors, and stakeholders. This is a pivotal role where you will combine hands-on expertise with leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
This role requires travel across multiple sites with a 7,000 annual car allowance in addition to the salary.
The role involves carrying out general maintenance, which will incorporate more complex repairs, offering support and advice to a group of Maintenance Operatives (MOs), to ensure the care home remains functional and supports the independence and dignity of its residents
To be successful in this role you will have relevant trade skills/qualification (e.g., plumbing, joinery, electrical, decorating), previous experience as a multi-trade maintenance technician in a customer facing environment, coupled with good practical experience within all aspects of the building industry, you must be flexible to work in an emergency/on call situation, if required.
