IT Service Desk Field Engineer (Fixed Term) - Homebased
2 positions available: (1 position based - South/South Coast)
37 hours per week (working from home with regular travel to MHA sites)
6 month FTC contract with the possibility of an additional 6 months, based on a salary £38,725 per annum

About the role
As an IT Field Engineer at MHA, your primary duty will be to provide engineering solutions in at any of MHA’s care home and retirement living sites in the UK. Field engineers serve as the bridge between our central IT Helpdesk at Derby and the staff and residents at our sites, helping to investigate and resolve problems whilst creating and maintaining positive professional relationships. As well as helping with the deployment of new systems and equipment, you will also need to investigate voice and data issues, working with the rest of the IT Team to maintain and repair our infrastructure whilst helping our workforce to perform their daily duties with the minimum of disruption

About you
You need to be a self-motivated problem solver, who will work as part of the IT Service Desk team, visiting our care home sites to investigate and solve issues. You need to have experience of installing and configuring hardware and software solutions which include PC builds, Meraki WiFi and 8x8’s voice over IP solution. Your role will also include one-to-one working with our staff, helping them to understand and use any new systems that we are deploying to our workforce.
