About the Role
You will be responsible for the effective management, development and continuous improvement of housing services including meal provision, ensuring high standards of performance are achieved and maintained. You will be committed to supporting residents to sustain their tenancies and live independently, promoting a positive and inclusive community environment.
You will lead on improving all aspects of service delivery across the 2 housing schemes, working in line with MHA’s policies, relevant housing legislation and regulatory requirements to meet key performance targets relating to customer satisfaction, service quality and financial management.
You will provide strong leadership to your team, supporting their development and maximising their potential. You will foster an engaged and motivated workforce, proactively addressing performance and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
You will ensure that residents’ housing-related needs are regularly assessed and reviewed, enabling them to maintain their independence, access appropriate support, and feel safe and secure in their homes. You will also promote opportunities for residents to engage with their community, build positive relationships and participate in activities that enhance wellbeing and quality of life.
You will oversee the maintenance, safety and presentation of communal areas, recognising these spaces as an extension of residents’ homes. You will ensure they are clean, well-maintained and welcoming, supporting residents to feel pride in their environment and encouraging shared use that enhances community living.

About you
- Demonstrable experience within a housing or supported housing environment, with a strong understanding of tenancy management, resident engagement and service delivery
- Proven experience of managing and leading a team of 10+ staff, with the ability to motivate, develop and support high performance
- Experience of managing budgets and financial plans, ensuring effective use of resources
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and the ability to comply with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements relating to residents and staff
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and engage a team
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families and external agencies
- Confident IT user with experience in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and email
