We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Compliance Technical Surveyor to join our Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping us maintain safe, compliant, and high-quality environments for residents and colleagues across our portfolio of properties.

Working closely with the Compliance Manager, you will support the delivery of a robust property compliance programme across a wide range of disciplines including gas, electrical, water hygiene, asbestos, fire safety, and other statutory compliance areas.

This role offers a blend of home working, office collaboration, and site visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and meaningful work.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating and monitoring statutory compliance servicing, inspections, and safety checks across domestic and commercial properties
  • Managing contractor performance to ensure compliance targets and service standards are consistently achieved
  • Reviewing and validating compliance documentation and asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Supporting audits, inspections, reporting, and risk management activities
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to operational teams and stakeholders
  • Assisting with specifications, tenders, contracts, and compliance improvement initiatives
  • Supporting the delivery of safe, compliant, customer-focused property services

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a collaborative approach.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working within property compliance, building services, housing or care sectors
  • A relevant technical qualification in construction, building services, gas, plumbing, heating, or electrical installation
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and landlord responsibilities across multiple disciplines
  • Experience managing contractors and performance against KPIs and service agreements
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and residents
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across operational sites

Additional qualifications in areas such as asbestos management, legionella, or health and safety would be advantageous, although support may be available to work towards these.
