You'll also champion the use of technology, automation and data-driven insight for continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:
Leading the Resourcing and Reward function, including recruitment, workforce planning, reward, pay governance, payroll and pensions and agency staffing supplier management.
- Contributing as an active member of MHA's Senior Leadership Team and supporting the delivery of organisational strategy.
- Driving continuous improvement across resourcing, reward, payroll and pensions processes, systems and service delivery.

You'll be an experienced senior people leader with a strong understanding of resourcing, workforce planning, reward, payroll and pensions.
You'll bring:

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience of driving service improvement and operational excellence.
- A strategic mindset combined with a practical, collaborative approach.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning, recruitment strategy, reward frameworks and pay governance.
- An understanding of payroll practices, payroll systems, pension arrangements and associated governance requirements.
- Experience of using technology, data and innovation to improve services, insight and colleague experience.
- A passion for developing people, building capability and creating positive workplace cultures.
- A commitment to MHA's values and purpose.
A CIPD Level 7 qualification, or equivalent experience, is required. A CIPP qualification, or equivalent payroll qualification, would be desirable.
Ways of Working:
Regular onsite presence is important to enable visible leadership, build strong relationships across the People function, support and develop teams, contribute effectively to Senior Leadership Team activity, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation. You will therefore need to work an average of 2-3 days per week at our Head Office in Derby.
Why join MHA?:
When you join MHA, you're joining an organisation with a clear purpose and a strong set of values. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our resourcing, reward, payroll and pensions services while helping ensure we continue to attract, reward, support and retain the colleagues who make such a difference every day. If you're passionate about people, leadership and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
