  • Managing the Credit Control inbox and responding to queries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring statements and communications are issued in line with organisational requirements.
  • Supporting direct debit collections and cash allocation activities.
  • Communicating with customers by telephone, email and letter regarding outstanding balances.
  • Supporting audit requirements and providing financial information as required.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen financial controls.
  • Contributing to team objectives, performance targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous Credit Control experience within a fast-paced finance environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A confident and proactive approach to resolving issues and managing workloads.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • A results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving team objectives.
  • An adaptable approach with a willingness to embrace change and identify process improvements.

Experience within social housing, care or charitable organisations would be advantageous.
